The interiors of three commuter trains ER2T were upgraded

The works on interior refurbishment of three electric multiply units trains ER2T for Nicopol train depot have been completed. MDC role in the project was general interior concept development, design and manufacture of the coaches’ interior lining. Wall lining panels were manufactured at the Thermoplastics workshop of MDC. The refurbishment resulted in compliance of the ER2T interiors with current sanitary and fire safety requirements for passenger transport. Besides, passenger comfort level was greatly improved.

Unlike the standard design of electric commuter trains, it was decided to employ the warm beige color panels for interior design.

The new technology of panels fastening was applied in this project.
