Innotrans 2006

MDC delegation visited international transport industry trade fair Innotrans 2006, organized by the Association of German Railway Engineers on 19-20 of September. Innotrans takes place in Berlin every two years and it is soundly considered the leading world forum presenting modern transport vehicles, equipment and technology. More than 1300 exhibitors were presented on outside static displays on the Messe Berlin tracks and in the exhibition halls. Total fairground was over 90.000 square meters. The biggest segment of Innotrans 2006 was the exhibition of rail transport.
MDC delegation, which included designers, design-engineers and External Cooperation and Foreign-economic Departments specialists, examined the latest trends of industry development and innovative solutions in transport systems and technologies. MDC specialists held some discussions with their foreign colleagues. Some of the dialogues resulted in agreements on further cooperation of the companies.
That was the second visit of MDC to Innotrans (the company participated in TE Plus freight diesel locomotive project presentation at Innotrans 2004). Innotrans 2006 had the positive impact on the expertise level of MDC specialists and helped to select the potential partners of the company. Right after the trade fair the components delivery process started with B&T Exact Gmbh. It was initiated at Innotrans talks.
