- 12-09-2009
We took part in the II International Railway Salon "EXPO 1520" held in Moscow region from 9 to 12 of September. This is an international specialized salon of the latest advances in equipment, technology, infrastructure, services and logistics of the railway industry, and the only railway exhibition of "Area 1520" (CIS Railway width gauge). The goal of "EXPO 1520" is to create a modern international platform to showcase the latest locomotives, cars, special machinery, process equipment to a major customer - the heads of railway administrations of "Area 1520", operating and leasing companies.
Exhibition stand of PKPP MDC was in Rolling Stock and Railway Technology section. It introduced freight locomotive’s Modular Cab completely assembled with all equipment, as well as a piece of subway passenger car interior, finished with FRP panels and a piece of commuter electric train interior, lined with thermoformed plastic. Our exposition attracted vivid interest of the visitors. Cab module was especially popular, and the flow of people willing to get on board was constant until the last day. Hundreds of visitors were able to evaluate the build quality, comfort and service possibilities of the driver’s workplace, set of advanced equipment and high level of cab’s technical equipment directly on the driver's seat. Among the honored guests who visited our cab were the President of Russian Railway Company (RZD) Vladimir Yakunin and the First Deputy of the Prime Minister of Russia Sergei Ivanov.
For our company this exhibition became an excellent stage for presenting the achievements and capabilities of PKPP MDC, sharing of experience with colleagues, establishing new business contacts. We’d like to acknowledge the work of the organizers of the Salon, who created fine conditions for business activity, who gathered at the Salon industry experts and decision makers from different countries for productive work, as well as providing extensive coverage of the exhibition in the media.
