MDC designed and manufactured SEALANDER, an amphibious caravan used as a road trailer on land and a motor boat on water.
Certified Characteristics
- design category D;
- maximum 4 persons;
- hull length 3.70 m and beam 1.66 m;
- hull draught 0.27 m and maximum draught with wheels 0.47 m;
- one outboard engine up to 4.41 kW / 6 hp and 28 kg;
- light craft mass 687 kg;
- maximum load including persons 382 kg;
- fully loaded displacement 1,097 kg;
- GFRP hull.
For the certified road configuration: category O1, technically permissible gross mass 750 kg, one axle, maximum coupling load 75 kg and maximum speed 100 km/h.
